I’m a new patient, looking for a new dentist & team. I had to wait months for the appointment. Which I asked for a teeth cleaning. I went yesterday. Knowing I’m a new patient I expected the new patient questions and check up. It … More had been 3 years since my cleaning, because of an unfortunate experience with my last dentist. I was nervously hoping yesterday’s visit would be better. Everything was going fine, several x rays (which I asked if my insurance covered all types, they said they won’t know until they file the claim, I gave them my insurance information- I thought you could look up what’s covers and what is not). They gave me several exams by dental assistant, then the doctor came back in to check my teeth, I thought it odd- wouldn’t it be better for him to check my teeth after they’d been cleaned? Well, come to find out, they were not going to clean my teeth, they were setting up to go home. I have to come back! The cleaning appointment is 7 weeks away. Disappointed.

Excellent office staff! Appointments are always on time - no waiting for an appointment that I am on time for…so refreshing! Dr. Drakulich is a pro. He makes a crown seem easy. Also, I didn’t have to wait for the crown to come in from … More the lab - it’s made right there at the office! I had no jaw pain as I have had with other dentist’s work. Dr. D and his team triple checked my bite to be sure it was correct.

I am VERY impressed by this office. The staff all seems happy, the office is lively but not raucous, there are no weird smells or cracks in the equipment, on the floor, walls or furniture. On top of all of that, the actual doctor called … More to check on me the next day. Any other office, I’ve heard from the receptionist or maybe a hygienist if I’m really lucky… but the doctor set aside time specifically for phone calls. That tells me everything about the actual care put into what this office does for its patients every day. Standing ovation for Montrose Family Dental!

Dr. Dan is an excellent dentist. He scheduled me for an exam immediately as a new patient to fix a previous loose dental crown that had been done by another dentist. He thoroughly examined my tooth and explained what had been done before … More by a previous dentist. He then fixed the problem and informed me what is the best treatment going forward. I feel very confident in his assessment and assured by his professionalism.
The staff at Montrose Family Dental is phenomenal. They are very professional and kind. They were in constant communication with me and my past dentists. They arranged and coordinated all my dental records to be sent to them to ensure that on my appointment all would be completed and ready so that Dr. Dan could assess my situation. I was and always been terrified of the Dentist and avoided going at all cost basically forever. Finally broke down and set up a consultation with Montrose family dental. I needed a lot of work, as I feared deep cleaning, root canals, crowns, … More fillings, basically everything. They set me up with a treatment plan and not just a few short months later my smile is better than it has been in my life period! Let me start by saying I have high anxiety for dentists. I hate it. I asked to be put under and that wasn't an option so I was extra stressed. Shayne the Dental hygienist made me feel comfortable and eased me in with the nitrous. Dr. … More Dan came in and started numbing my mouth, and then doing his work. Consistently he asked if I was comfortable and when I told him no, he numbed me more until I couldn't feel anything. After a filling I had a root canal and a wisdom tooth extraction. I got so comfortable that I was falling asleep in a root canal. The tooth removal was easy, just pressure and wiggling. I waited a couple of days to write a review because I wanted to see how I felt after. I've been pain free, swelling free, and haven't needed pain pills. Easily the best dental experience of my life. The one thing that could've been better is when Shayne walked me back to the receptionist to set up a follow up appointment, she asked how I was paying instead of how I was feeling. I had called the day before to make my initial payment and set up a payment plan, so I wouldn't have to think about money after the surgery. Not Doctor Dans fault, and not even a big deal, so 5 stars for Drakulich.
